    I really wonder where these manufacturers pull their information from. As a practical-minded buyer I can't imagine choosing a sedan over a hatchback model. There's just so much more flexibility with a hatchback, and really, what's the drawback? I can't see one other than it costing slightly more money. The majority of my fellow Americans are silly!

    Majority of Americans are not stupid . Hatchbacks are essentially a European craze because of the smaller roads and parking spaces . I have seen parking spots in Switzerland which  would just fit golf carts .
