What car should I buy?

I'm 16 years old and looking to buy my first car within the next year. My budget is $15,000. I'm basically looking for the fastest coupe or sedan that i can within my budget. Although, if it is a coupe it needs to have back seats so that my friends can fit too. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Used, dunno, you'd have to decide for yourself about how old, how many miles etc. It depends so much on each individual used car. OTOH I searched around my zipcode for new cars costing no more than 15K and found lots of new 2015 & 2106 Focuses, Fiestas, Darts and Sonics as low as 14K. Some Fiestas in the high 12s along with Sentras and Versas. Under 12k a Fiesta, Sparks, and lots of Versas. Not saying these are fast 0-60 cars, but you might find some of them fast in the sense of handling well. Plus you may get a better insurance deal than with, say, a used 300hp Camaro. When I got my first car I thought about buying fast used, but went for fun new. Bought a new 1985 Honda CRX- I didn't beat anybody at the light, but had a great time eating up pricier cars on mountains roads. To me it's hard to beat a new car just for the newness and reliability. Plus you will always know who has taken care of it properly- you, not a stranger who drove it before you did.
