Can we use private offer for used car from a dealer?

Is the private offer for new vehicle only?

    You mean private party number instead of dealer retail?

    Sure, you can offer that. The dealer may say no, depending on the usual market factors. But it doesn't cost anything to ask.

    By browsing chevy.com, they give out Private Offer upto $1500. Can this offer apply to used car?

    Ah, thanks for the extra info, not familiar with that one.

    Usually the fine print limits how the incentive is used and it's rare for a manufacturer to offer an incentive on a used car (even then, it would most likely be limited to a certified used car).

    I found a private offer for Farm Bureau members and the fine print on that one limited the offer to a few models of 2016 trucks. So you'll need to look for a pop-up or an asterisk to find out how the $1,500 offer could be used.

    My guess is that this one won't work for a used car.
