Swap a 1991 Ford Ranger 3.0 into a 1994 with a 4.0

Hello All,

I have a 1991 Ford Ranger with a 3.0 good motor and tranny. And a 1994 with a 4.0 with a bad tranny. The 1991 ranger is rusted out badly and the 1994 is in great shape. Will i be able to use the tranny from the 1991 3.0 on the 1994 4.0? If not will i be able to bolt up the 1991 3.0 and tranny into the 1994?
