Radio wont turn off unless i turn the headlights off

Hey there...so I bought a 2004 maxims 3.5SL and I installed an aftermarket Kenwood stereo in the car..and now when I turn the car off the radio won't shut off unless I turn the headlights off?? Any ideas??

    You obviously hooked up the radio's main power wire to the car's headlight power circuit
