Infiniti Infotainment System

I have seen negative reviews about the infotainment system in new Infiniti models, including what is in the new QX50. Are there any problems? I am thinking of replacing my 2012 EX35, but don't want to buy a headache.

    Well, I do think it's a weak spot. I'm not sure what they've done in the past year but my '17 QX60's unit has some areas that they should address. No Android Auto/Apple CarPlay support. The folder management/navigation if you use a USB thumb drive is woefully inadequate. I haven't used Bluetooth streaming since I prefer to use a thumb drive so I can't really speak to that (BT works fine for phone calls). I also don't really use voice controls for audio so I can't really comment on that.

    And, for the record, my QX60 is in the shop as I type this as the head unit has been having issues with freezing up. But I suspect that's just a defective unit & not a design issue.
