Reccomendations on Reliable SUV under $25K

  My suggestion is the 2018 Honda CR-V AWD LX. This car has a list price of $26,500, but with some negotiation you should be able to get $2000 off of the list price. Honda is offering 2.9% financing over 60 months on this model, which is a below market rate. My recommendation is to say "NO" as many times as needed to extended warranties etc. As someone with kids myself (although they are now grown) I agree that leasing doesn't seem like such a good idea.
  
  The Honda CR-V should be safe, reliable, roomy, etc.

  Another possibility would be the 2018 Subaru Forester, which is slightly less money. Plus the Subaru has 0% financing right now. That's probably the better "deal," although imho a Subaru is not quite as nice or reliable in the long run as a Honda.
