Charging problems

Hi I'm new here so I have a 2002 Kia sportage that is having some charging problems. Bought a new battery and found it was the alternator. I've changed the alternator about 3 times now and it goes for a little bit before it dies. I have cleaned all the grounds and the battery connectors. Now I'm at a lost

When it dies do you have to jump start it and/or charge the battery?

Is the charge lamp on when you turn on the key without starting the engine?
If so, does it go out after the engine is started?

What is the battery voltage with the key and engine off?
What is the battery voltage with the engie running and no accessories turned on?
What is the battery voltage with multiple accessories turned on?

Make those checks both at idle and at 2500rpm.

You can jump it but it dies right after which tells me it's the alternator not charging. I've change it 3 times now going on 4, so I know it's not the alternator but something with that car. None of my windows work now that the old one died, someone said to change the emc unit

I asked this in the first response.
