Passenger side brake light is not working. Bulb is fine. Seems that the "plunger action" in the socket may be lacking. I put some WD in there.....worked for a day or so....now not working. Can I replace this socket or do I need an entire lens assembly? Appreciate any help.

Hello! Not familiar with that specific vehicle, but any socket that comes out of the housing can be replaced. When replacing it, put some dielectric grease in the socket before inserting the bulb to protect the parts from corrosion and rust. I do this with all electrical sockets and plugs. These can be purchased on ebay if you are an online shopper, and I am sure from a dealer most likely at a premium. One could also find a good one at a salvage yard and just take it out, should be very inexpensive that way. Good luck and a great day!

Thank you 93Tracker. I should have been more specific. It appears that this socket can not be removed. I thought there might be a "secret handshake" to replace it.
