Unplugged Wire harness found, help.

I found a unplugged wire harness located under the car jack built in compartment near the rear left brake light and I dont know where this harness is suppose to be plugged into. The harness has 4 blue tabs with 2-3 wires coming out of them that connect in to the harness. 2006 Pontiac Torrent.
The harness resembles the tail light harness but it is not that. Any one know what or where this harness gos???

    Many wiring harnesses are built to allow for different accessories. Cars that don't use the optional components often have connectors that "don't go anywhere".
