The '04 35th Anniv. H6 OBW at my dealer had the Baja Turbo wheels. Supposedly these are also on the '04 VDC.
Still don't know what wheels the '04 OB Limited has.
I asked the dealer if they had any '04 OB info and they said no.
Ken - Saab is supposedly looking into also selling a 2.5 non-turbo model of the 9-2. An 2.5RS wagon per say.

I see the self-leveling rear suspension is standard.

Once again we get dissed, the best stuff stays overseas!

Given the poor fuel economy and the 1st to 2nd complaints of the MT buyers, I would rethink the AT anyway, but I wanted a choice. I like how the oz site has such clear info on the gearing....given the the MT's lower 1st and top end gear ratios , its no surprise the MT is eating up so much gas. If OZ gets the new Legacy/Liberty GT before us,with the 2.5 L turbo, I hope they include this much info on their web site, so I can do some serious number comparisons between the Legacy and the Forester even before the Legacy is available here.

$36,500 USD!
This is so far beyond previous Subaru pricing, I suspect they will be hard to sell in the US, where Subaru is less than 1% of domestic auto sales, at that price point. Still, its well below comparably equipped Volvo, Audi and BMW sport wagons. At those prices, I'd be hard pressed to choose the Legacy GT over a Forester XT MSR priced $8000 less.

thw wagon in the NZ article looks the best....it chnages my opinion from sedan to wagon, it is that good looking.
The main sucess behind WRX was pricing it below 24k.

• When the North American-spec H-6 Outback debuts, it will debut only with the new 5-speed SportShift tranny. If the H-6 is offered with a manual, it will only be in the Legacy, and I think that's a long shot too. My guess is that that for those who want performance and to row the gearbox, that will be a pleasure reserved H-4 turbos.
• When the North American-spec H-6 debuts, its displacement will increase. I say anywhere from a 3.2 – 3.7 in size. My guess is 3.5, mainly because Nissan has a great 3.5 V6, and they are selling lots of V6 Altimas and Maximas. Also, if it's a 3.5, it could easily be increased to 3.6 or 3.7 for the crossover. I'm also not convinced this engine will be derived from the current 3.0. It could very well be an all-new engine. I do think a 3.0 H-6 will continue to be offered in other markets, however.
Bob
Yeah, the H6 will probably still only be offered in auto. I also think it'll be the 5-speed to keep up with other makes.
In addition to a bump in displacement, the H6 would probably get AVCS.

What I think and what I want are also very different. I want a 2000 lb 7 passenger H6 twin turbo hard-top convertible with a 12 year unlimited mile warranty for $10 grand. ;-)

I forgot to mention free enrollment in autocross school, and unlimited track access, naturally.

I guess I'll just stick my post card in the desk and go pedal around until that 05 Legacy hits these shores.

2003 Legacy 2.5l MT in NZ costs USD 25k which is 5k more than what it costs in US.
using the same math, GT would cost 30-31 range which is a good 6-7k less than european ones, it will kick......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but after you buy it, these coupons can be used for spares, service maint. etc.
2000 is the maximum you can use towards a new car.
it does not say you can't have more than 1 creditcard per household. for e.g my wife & i can get 500 each per year ????????

Edit: My gosh, could that last link have any more mistakes in it? 2.5 liter 227 hp WRX = wrong, and twin turbo WRX = wrong, even in Canada, lads.
what i am saying is in NZ, the current legacy(not new one) costs in USD Equiq. of 25k. So, i am not surprised that new GT costs USD 36k
Since current legacy costs in US at 20k, the GT should cost 5to6k less than 36k.

They take the cake on inaccuracy.
Told ya Camrys can hit $30k MSRP. Scary. It's loaded to the gills, but still.
Invoice is probably 10% less, so that's $3 grand right there. Then add a small rebate and boom, real-world pricing.

WRX sold well because it was a good value. VDC went premium and sales, at least, tanked.

I think we are seeing a division in the market: folks who want a giant SUV or gadget-filled mini van have plenty of expensive choices, but the enthusuiasts want smaller, manueverable performance wagons. Audi can't sell S4 and S6 wagons fast enough, and folks are standing on line for the Mazda 6 wagon, which is pale by comparison but better than a Saturn. Its already very hard to find a Forester XT Premium package...I think Subaru will test the $30K market.
Mark
Now wouldn't that be a hoot? All Legacys with turbos; one low-boost, and one mid/high-boost.
Bob
No way, no how, will they meet CAFE standards without a base engine that is normally aspirated.
