Can Someone Identify this Old Car ?

Our family came across this old vehicle near a uranium mine in western Colorado. The plastic emblem came from the round hole visible in the second photo.
Can anyone identify it??

    Definitely a Chrysler. Chrome trim on the fender looks like a 51-52 New Yorker.

    Yep, that zig zag IDs it. I was thinking it was a dent.

    This car is located in the Paradox Valley, near Naturita, CO.
    Date definitely fits well with the mid-century uranium boom in the area.
