I`d like to share this bit of help someone gave to me. for those of you facing a situation requiring the removal of the harmonic balancer the hardest part was trying to loosen the center bolt, until this guy told me to remember the direction the engine turns then set up a ratchet with a good socket then put the socket on bolt head and brace the ratchet in direction needed and just bump the ignition as if starting the car but don't start then check out the bolt it will be loose enough to remove. this simple thing stuck with me my whole life and it saved me when I was putting on a new timing chain and I really hope it helps someone out there.
