about transmissions: i have an automatic 2007 Honda Fit Sport....only have 43,000 on it...just had it in and it needed a coil, because car engine kept dropping out while driving and idleing.(probably would have started bucking if i didnt go in).that was fixed, I say all of this to ask about the transmission now.......what i wonder is this...all of a sudden 2 days after having the coil replaced, my car shifted down to second while i went around a corner...gave a real jolt...i have heard stories about the transmissions in the Fit..but at 43,000?..could this be related somehow to the coil replacement...never happened before...p.s. still have the horn sound when car shifts down...perhaps this noise after 6 1/2 years may be related to this weird downshift ...of the transmission...oh yes, now the car is shifting hard. i have my regular maintenance so doesnt need fluid ..that is my story...
