Can I NOT pay extended warranty that I just cancelled?
Hello,
I just bought a Honda Civic used car and a 7 year extended warranty from a Honda dealer. But after having paid half of the balance down, I decided to cancel the extended warranty. So I went to tell my dealer but the dealer said I have to wait for 30 days and then call her back about the cancellation, because she has already mailed out the warranty contract. I asked her whether I can call her earlier but she says no. Really?
Another thing is since I've paid half of the balance and the bank will mail me a statement for the rest of the balance, my question is: can I NOT pay that $2000 warranty fees when I receive the bank statement......rather than paying it first and wait for a refund?
