Isn't the 9-speed packaged in a way that requires two dog clutches? The shifts between 4-5 and 7-8 require that the engine reduce torque until the dog stuff can align. (View Post)1 -

Having a car automatically drive up to a charger and charge could resolve some of these issues. Go to work and park and the car schedules itself to charge while you don't need it. (View Post)1
