I need some help with my 05 Tahoe. While on the freeway, driving at about 80mph, the Tahoe started to jerk a little at first, then really hard. As it does, the door locks start cycling & I lose power. It wont go past 200 rpm. It feels as if the engine is going to fall right out from underneath the car. It's difficult to explain but it would feel like the transmissions going out. That did happen a yr or so ago & I had it rebuilt & its been fine. The first time it happened, I tried to pull off to the shoulder of the frwy & when I did, it started running normally. It was good for a month or two & it happened again. Again once I got to my destination & drove it again minutes later, it ran fine. It happened again on Friday & this time I lost all power, engine shut down & it drained the battery. I had to have it towed off the freeway. This time the tach gauges were going crazy, the cd player went crazy. No error msgs on dash. Dealership said it was battery so put a new 1 in. happened again
