Starting problems

So I have a 96 GMC Savanna and it has recently taking several turn keys to start. Would this be a starter issue? The battery is strong according to auto zone and the fuel pump is like 10 months old, thought? Thanks

    You mean you turn the key and nothing whatsoever happens and you keep turning it on and off and finally the starter motor starts to crank? Or do you mean you turn the key, the starter cranks but the engine will not start up?

    I turn the key the motor tuns over and takes longer then usual to fire, but it will start. If I turn the key and let it quickly crank, it will normally start the next time I turn the key

    You might be losing fuel pressure in the fuel rail. I'd check on that--perhaps a bad fuel pressure regulator?
