Corvette C5 Electrical

Are any current Corvette C5 owners experiencing lots of electrical problems - issues with modules, computers, etc. My car is almost 4 years old (1998 Convertible) and it has been failing very often. Last week another module failed ($475) and the dealership cannot diagnose very well. I contacted Chevrolet and their response "Bring it to the dealer"....again. It just left and they were clueless. I did talk to another 1998 owner and he too had enough of the electrical issues and bought a 2002. The headlights are intermittent, the transmitters have never worked since day one, the list is endless.

The transmitter is something that can be fixed.

Find a dealer that does a TON of 'Vette sales/service. Most dealers that don't do a lot of volume 'Vette sales have a bunch of trouble with the service. Many components are first run technology, and most are unique to the car itself and do not share parts with other models that would make it easier to diagnose. My wife's uncle bought his 'Vette at a local dealer and takes it to the "Corvette King" for service because they are the only ones that could do a good job with repair/diagnosis. I don't know where you live but here is the site, can't hurt to check it out.
