We're also trading in our 2005 525i (same car as above); it has 14,000 miles.
Of the 4 dealers I'm talking to, the best offer is $667/month. Comments?
Thanks!
I would check the invoice price for the car you want on bimmerfest.com and use that to negotiate a better price. I found when searching myself that 2 dealerships gave me a competitive price right out the barn via email, while another dealership offered $1700 more, but said If I can in they could discuss meeting the other prices.
Good Luck!

MSRP 55,270
36month/15k miles
$5000 down
$860/month
Thoughts?
Thanks.
The invoice prices I've found on the Net are $76.3k but I don't know what the invoice cost is for all the options. Is there some sort of percentage I can use to determine total invoice cost? I want the Comfort Access system, HUD, Multi-Function Seats, Premium sound, and Side Airbags. The sticker cost for these is something like $5.1k.
We are negotiating the value of my trade and knowing their cost structure would help me. Thanks very much!
I am looking at a BMW 528xi lease. The configuration I'm considering has an MSRP of $59,580. What is a fair monthly lease payt. on a 24 or 30 month lease based on the following information?
NY Resident.
$3000 Cap Cost reduction, SalesTax, Acq. Fee, 1st payt. paid at time of delivery.
Thanks.
Hope this helps and good luck.
Also is $500 over invoice a reasonable price? Thanks
24 Month – Residual 73% of MSRP – .00295 Base Rate
36 Month – Residual 60% of MSRP – .00295 Base Rate
$500 over invoice seems rather aggressive. If you need any more help, please feel free to email me or reply.
Residual and money factor for 10,000 miles 2 year or 10,000 miles 3 year?
Thanks
24 Month – Residual 73% of MSRP – .00225 Base Rate
36 Month – Residual 63% of MSRP – .00225 Base Rate
If you need any more help, please reply or email me!

2008 BMW 528i Sedan
24 Month – Residual 76% of MSRP – .00225 Base Rate
36 Month – Residual 63% of MSRP – .00225 Base Rate
MSRP $52,425
Selling Price $49,100
Monthly Payment $585 (24 Months, 10,000 Miles per Year)
Due at Signing First Month's Payment $585 + Bank Fee $625, $1,230 Sales Tax + $60 Doc Fee
Based on my calculations, it looks like the dealer is discounting the car $3,325. That is a strong deal!
If you need any more help, please reply or email me!
If I calculate it correctly . If I calculate correcty 60,100 is the selling price for 24 month lease.
Do I do the numbers right?
base MF = 0.00225 but dealer wants 0.00269, residual = 64% for 36mo / 10k
plus security deposit, 1st month payment, acquisition fee, title+registration+taxes
Please let me know if I am getting ripped off with the money factor of 0.00269 when it is currently 0.00225 and how much more above invoice of 50K should I be at.
Thanks
Tom
Can someone please post the latest MF and RV?
Thanks.

any feel for the Feb lease numbers?
James
You can hedge your bet by locking-in at the current 550 rates for 60 days. If you need more help, please email me or reply.
I realize that I was not entirely clear. I have 7300 neg equity burried into the deal, but my out of door cost is $1300 (first payment + reg fees). I live in NY.
Thanks for your help.
James
Lease Pmt - $670
Out of Pocket - 1st month, bank fee, taxes
10,000/36 months
Many thanks.
Assuming a $68,700 MSRP, $42,000 residual (61%), 0.00200 money factor (4.8% interest rate), 36 month term, 12,000 miles per year, and 8% sales tax (New York City is 8.375%), I calculate your selling price to be $65,700, a $3,000 discount. That is an aggressive purchase price.
If you need more help, please email me.
Thanks.
do you have a feel for the feb lease numbers? would expect them to head south based on fed interest rate movement, but not sure when.
thanks again for your help.

Cold weather package
NAV
Xenon lights
10K/Yr
24 motnhs lease
598/month and down payment is 3050 (outdoor, all inclusive no security deposit since I am an existing customer)...
The above deal since I am a previous BMW owner,
Please let me know if this is a good deal....
Dealer is quoting me a price of $500 over THEIR Invoice price which is some prep stuff they say is needed - so a selling price of 54,500. I guess this is what they will sell me the car for. The actual invoice price of the car when I punch it up is $53,570 - so to me this seems like really $930 over invoice. Does this seem like a good price for a 535xi? I locked in the money factor yesterday so I have time to figure this out
Now for leasing, the payment is $790 per month - 24 month 10k lease. NJ taxes are rolled in the lease. The check I come up with day one is about $2750 which includes first month payment, the $625 bank fee, motor vehicle fees, doc fees, some NJ luxury tax and an $800 refundable security deposit?
Does this sound reasonable (.00225 money factor and 73% residual) thanks
If you need more help, please feel free to email me or reply.
Therefore, where would one be able to find all BMW's (lease) discounts, promotions, etc.
does anyone want to assume a lease for a 2008 BMW 535i? It is brand new, (purchased 12-31-07 and has 478 miles, garage kept)
has 34 payments left and is loaded! MSRP was $60,670. Monthly payment is only $781.52. It is:

Premium Package
Sport Package
Sport Automatic Transmission
Comfort Access System
Bamboo Anthracite wood trim

Where did you get that deal? Thanks in advance.
I just sent you an email to your carspace email (see above in right-hand corner under the heading "Mailbox"). I would appreciate your insight. Thanks in advance
- 528i with Sat Radio, NAV not much else.
- MSRP $47,775
- Sale price $45,930
(discount of $1,845;
looks like dealer takes about 4.4% profit over invoice)
- Lease 3yr at 15k miles /yr
- Residual is 60%
- Money Factor .0022
- $1,155 due at signing (state is NC)
- Monthly Payment $688
- I am current BMW 5-series lease customer
Based on other recent posts, this doesn't look like a particularly good offer. It looks like a MF of .0018 for returning customer and a discount of around $2,800 is achievable, with resulting payment of $609?
Comments? Thanks in advance.
By the way, thanks to all who post here, it has helped me greatly in past negotiations.
