My truck makes a growling noise, like a piece of sheet metal or small weld reacting to the wind. It starts around 35-50 mph on a slight incline. Noise will let up if I let up on throttle or give it more throttle. Does not always make noise. Nothing loose and Dealer can't find the problem. Looking for mhelp.
My 2009 Ram Hemi made a similar whining noise at about the same speed. I suspect it was the overdrive. Slightly irriating, but it never caused any drivability issues.
If the truck is in too high a gear for the engine load (doesn't shift out of overdrive quickly enough as you start a climb) then the driveline will definitely vibrate.

Mds has slight vibration / growl when only using 4 cyl to conserve on fuel. I'm very pleased with performance of the 6.4 Hemi!
