I agree with you. After having new OEM rotors installed they warped again within 7,000 miles. It's a problem, an OEM problem. I switched dealers, and the adviser suggested I switch to an aftermarket drilled slotted rotor. I drove another 40,000 with warped rotors(total mileage 75k), I just replaced front and rear pads and rotors last week. Time will tell if the drilled slotted rotors are any better.
    Good luck.

Forgive my ignorance, but I do not know what an OEM rotor is. Is the slotted rotor meant to disburse heat? Have you had any luck contacting KIA USA?

Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM), so basically I used expensive KIA parts to avoid any issues with warranty. Some people say the drilled & slotted rotors disburse heat, and some say they perform better in wet conditions. In theory they should do both.
I contacted KIA USA customer service, and all they did was contact the dealer for me. A total waste of time.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'll mill the rotors for now and hope for the best. Good to know that there are after market replacement parts.

I tried that and had no luck. I suggest you look on line for the drilled and slotted, and have the dealer install them. Or you may want to have them milled and try a different brand of brake pads.
    Good luck.
