Placed order Jun 1st, took delivery September 1st.
What a wait but well worth it. Sitting on my driveway is a spectacular Black Z, with more extras than Ben Hur. Can't wait for the morning .

    With respect kdominczak,

If you read the PDF file carefully, it states it has a 200 HP and it has 169 lb-ft of torque. I personally am impressed with those numbers. Acceleration of 0-60 in 7.1 is fast, but you would think it would be faster. I agree with your statement.

Maybe the Focus would rip apart if it went faster? Pretty scary to have a focus with a 0-60 time in 6 seconds!

EVERYTIME I DRIVE MY FOCUS ZX3 AT 60 MPH something weird happens. if i take my foot of the gas pedal the RPM stays at 2000RPM and i don't even have my foot on the gas pedal. is this normal? then the RPM's go down slowly. help. thanks.if u take your foot of the gas pedal the RPM's should go down as if it was idling. right?

I just looked at that "svtexperience" page with the v6 focus, and noticed in big print at the end of the article: THIS VEHICLE IS NOT INTENDED FOR PRODUCTION

Thats the first time ive seen any info on that car either (but the Focus-R stuff is all over the place, the dealers have it in a brocure even) but Ford is planning on a super-focus for sure... especially since they just held some sort of top-secret meeting with some profesional Focus Moders and the Rally team at the Ford test track.

Personally, im hoping for the Focus-R, not the v6... but either one will do

The RPM's would go down as if idling only if you depress clutch or throw transmission into neutral. If you do not depress clutch or do not throw transmission into neutral, your RPM's will decrease as the road speed decreases. But, with the automatic transmission, the action of the torque converter and computer (about 200 rpm) enters into play.
