What this means is that all the people that want to do the UBS....have to wait in line, and usually for a LONG time. I run into the UBS buyers all of the time...they are for the most part a pretty frustrated lot.
For what its worth.
one could find in and around Austin, texas.
Has anyone tried priceline.com service for
odyssey purchasing ?.
Thanks
ravi
Maybe someone could change theirs!
I would post the dealership, but I would rather have it in my hands before I give them too much praise. If you are interested, mail me.

A friend got an MB EX also at MSRP from Fuller Honda in Chula Vista. When I called them they were asking $1000 over MSRP. I didn't bother to haggle since Valley Hi was giving me what I wanted.
rkpankaj
It's in Va Beach
also I got a call from piazza honda for an gold ex
for msrp .
Looks like there are lot more odesseys on the lot available than few months back.
I was looking for odessey but decided to get the Accord EX.
I will be purchasing a 2002 EX-L,Nav. and rear entertainment system.
Thanks
Car was advertised at $500 under MSRP, so base price I paid was $26,340. The dealership had a $349 processing fee they would not budge on (despite me doing the processing of the vehicle). I had to pay $50 city tax (I'm still wondering if that is right), a title tax (which I'm told will be credited towards my state tax when I register it in MD, and a $12 temp tag (not bad). So bottom line is I got it for roughly $100 under MSRP which is the same deal I had in MD, but without the wait.
Because I complained about the horrible service I told them they should at least throw in the Xbars, which they did. I also purchased the 6/100000/$50 Hondacare. They matched the price I found on the internet $775 with no questions (another shiny moment in the not too shiny deal).
All in all, I like my new GG 01 EX, but not the dealership. If anyone is looking for a July delivery on a SS 01 EX at $100 under MSRP in MD, email me. I will be cancelling my order tomorrow when I get home.
We just picked up our GG EX w/Navi a week ago (& love it). We went to Bronx Honda and our salesman was Vincent Gordon. He was a pleasure to do business with (Now that's something I never thought I'd say about a car salesman). Phone there is: 718 892-3300. We lucked out with our timing, as the exact car we wanted was coming in, and the person who ordered it, really wanted an EX w/o Navi. He turned it down, and we got it!!!
Now, about the price. We got it for $500 under MSRP. To do this, we signed up on two websites. One called milepoint.com and the other was automallonline.com. The first allows you to convert mileage to $$$ for certain airlines. From there you can use your $$$ toward the purchase of stuff from participating sites. automallonline.com was one of the sites, and Bronx Honda was a dealership participating in automallonline.com's program. We converted 12,500 miles to $250 - at the time automallonline.com was doubling the value (hence the $500). I believe that you can use 25,000 miles to get the $500 discount also. I checked with quite a few dealers in the NY Metro area that were signed up for automallonline.com, but only Bronx Honda was participating for the Odyssey. automallonline.com also has their own discount program, but for us, that only added another $14 or so to the discount. We also had to put a $300 "deposit" with them to get a certificate to bring to the dealer. The good news with that, is that the $300 was taken off of the price, so that brought the taxes down some.
If you do business with Vincent, please mention my name: Larry Levy.
And if you don't make use of the programs, they were sell the Ody at MSRP.
1. First, get your van from out of state: you will pay no state sales tax in selling state, and only a temporary registration fee;
2. Take your van to a California smog stattion and get a smog certificate;
3. Contact DMV on line and make an appointment at a convenient dmv office near you;
4. Show up at the appointed time with all of your sales paperwork, and smog check and ownership certificate-also take the van as they will need to inspect it to certify it has all the necessary smog stickers, equipment and such;
5. Pay California state sales tax on your purchase price and registration fees for your vehicle;
6. You'll be out of the dmv office in twenty minutes.
So we are driving 3 hours to Hollywood Fla (Maroone Honda) to pick it up. Worth the trip for $500 in my pocket and Lojack. We pick it up tomorrow (Saturday 6/2).
The 7yr/100k hondacare w/zero deduct is $1600 for all FL dealers. So we will buy that elsewhere, I figure I should be able to find it for $950 or less somewhere.
I'm looking for an Odyssey LX in the Ventura/LA county. Has anyone had a good experience in the area (finding and buying a LX)? I understand some people have gone as far as Palmdale, but I would like to stay closer to home. I am also going to trade in our Explorer before something major happens to it, does anyone have good advice on trade ins.
Thank you
