2010 Town and Country problem
I have a 2010 T&C with 6k miles, since day one we have had an issue. When you are at a stop and release the break to go the car hesitates. First they told us it was a break pad problem, could not fix with out permission, had to come back to get it fixed. When that did not work trip three they figured it was a transmission problem and need to schedule later visit with their specialist. Trip four sorry no problems found and Chrysler says it's a normal driving condition. anyone have a similar story?

Have anyone else had this type off problem? The dealer requested that I record the rattle so they could send it to VMI corporate. The rattle is very loud but it is impossible to record due to road noises, etc., which drown out the rattles on my recorder.
Any help will be appreciated.
The writer asking about a rattle from under the drivers side slider may find this helpful. I was getting a similar rattle and complained a few times, it turned out to be the brake cables not being secured properly on the chassis. Whatever they did to tie them up solved the rattle. Another rattle sounded like a loose exhaust component like a shield rattling against the muffler while turning sharp and shifting from D to R or opposite. Again after several complaints they replaced the idler pulley and serp. belt which solved the problem. Recent 2010 brake issues have been acknowledged by Chrysler also. I had complained of shimmy in the steering wheel while braking as well as premature rotor wear on the rear brakes. They recently replaced my Front rotors and pads as well as rear brake pad clamps. Hopefully this will solve the issues.
Starting in Jan 2011 there has been a "burnt" exhaust smell each time I go from 75' above sea level to 2,000' within 3 miles. Attributed this to whacky CA emissions.
Check engine light came on 10/13/2012; took car to dealer 10/15.
Dealer told me, and SHOWED me bad heads, bad rocker arms.
Engine is stripped, awaiting new parts.
Found out from mechanic that the diagnosis came so quickly as this is the THIRD one like mine they have completed the same repairs.
Looking for others with this problem.
FYI I have a long relationship with this Dealer and except for this problem the T&C has been an excellent vehicle
We had a bad transmitter which caused wierd problems
Good luck
Coming out of a store to both sliding doors wide open and the doors are still locked.
My dealership after 7, yes I said 7 repairs - finally replaced every single part in both doors and reprogrammed the car. So far it hasn't happened again.
COMPLAIN COMPLAIN AND COMPLAIN to Chrysler. And if you have it fixed more than 3 times - it qualifies for Lemon Law!!!
