Mazda Protege Owners: Photo Gallery
You cannot upload photos directly from your computer into a message within a discussion. Your photo must reside elsewhere. Some have used www.photopoint.com (free!) to load their photos into a private folder and then post them within a message.
Here's how:
To get this:
Use this coding, but replace the ( and ) with < and >:
(img src="http://a332.g.akamai.net/7/332/936/0001/www.edmunds.com/pictures/44716.jpg")
Or: (img src="Photo URL address")
To make your photo a link like this:
do this:
(a href="Page URL address")(img src="Photo URL address")(/a)
Remember, posting copyrighted photos is a no-no. Unless, of course, you own the copyright.
Hope this helps!

P.S. use the "<>" brackets instead of the "()" brackets.
I guess I am the only one on the board with a black Protege. I will have to get the pics I took of it (before the accident) developed and post them on the web soon.
Larry,
why don't you post the pics of your twins in the garage. Man, I can never forget that sight when I came down to your place. they looked as beautiful as new-born - washed twins with their Daddy
Have a feeling that this is going to be a LONG week at work... sigh...
Ok, here's a shot of my baby when she was a week old. No mud flaps or window tint yet, but planned.

very nice indeed
I'll try to post mine up tomorrow, got caught up at work today...
I dropped off the key only to the the car, and not the remote. By accident this morning, I grabbed the keys off the holder with the remote to the Protege instead of the one to my rental (a Saturn L-200, which also has remote). I nearly cried when I realized what I did. I hope my car is done today, or I don't know what I am going to do!
I better enjoy my car's just-waxed shiny look, forecast says rain coming on Friday

Click on the pic to enter my website Like all you 3rd genners care hehe j/k :P
Great '93 LX!!! I had two '92 LX's and loved them both, especially the 5-speed. The "ultrawhite" look is especially well done. Glad to have seen it here!

This is our 2000 Protege ES. Just over 36K miles on it. Has a few little rock chips on the front (lots of interstate driving), but still looks great. Haven't had any problems as of yet. We are currently looking into purchasing a 2001 ES.

After seeing the factory lights, I could not imagine anything else coming close in looks.
Here's an interior shot of my beloved Momo shift knob. It's black leather and chrome and makes shifting an absolute joy!
I think some nice Katzkin grey leather seats with black inserts would look nice along with black carpeting... hmmm... time to start Photoshop...
You can get them from Tiffen:

I have their circular polarizer for my Epson and that thing works magic on all that California sun!

Unsharp masking eleminates unnecessary pixels where colors blend into each other, and puts a highlight around high-contrast colors.
I downloaded your pic to experiment with and will e-mail it to you. If it works on 72dpi.
Beautiful job on the car.
By the way, all AF cameras (digital and film) should use a circular (spiral) Polarizing filter.

The one they are using dates back to the ’70’s! Sheesh, it’s OLD.
I’ve considered having the holes filled in and painted over and installing a standard mast antenna on a fender.

One thing you can do is use Brightness and Contrast controls in an editing program such as Adobe Photo Deluxe, if it came with your camera’s software.
Increase the Brightness, but don't blow out the highlights. Then increase the Contrast which strengthens the colors and darkens the black shadow areas.
Do this before saving as jpeg.

Think Jerry's has already been given the Unsharp Mask treatment.
