Thanks to obyone, too, for his input.
I can't hear the sound it makes and that makes it more difficult to figure. Has to be one of three things. Either shocks, springs, or limited slip. Again, it depends on the sound it makes. It could also be a combination. I would have another dealer look at it, checking the springs and shocks first. I would think a tech would be able to tell on a test drive. Not sure if your current dealer is motivated enough to help you out.

I heard the same thing about the Granatelli and the HPIII. I installed the Granatelli about a month prior to the HPIII. Disconnected battery for half an hour when installing the Granatelli. Month later installed the HPIII programming and had no problems.
I have hear about TRUCKLOGIC for a bugshield and PERMA-TECH or LINEX for a spray in liner. Has anyone purchased these products.
Thanks.
$49 for the bug deflector

I am now curious about the bumpers - Post #476 stated that people still buy bugshields that require bumpers because of lack of info. Are there specific bugshields that I should NOT buy for a 2001 GMC?
Thanks.

I now understand why the dealer techs shy away from problems...it's too hard to find the info in the 4 volume manual. I would say tighten till tight, but not too tight....I'll see if I can find the info.
Oby, if I could bug you...what the torque spec for cab bolts? I'm still trying to convince the wife that buying a tech manual is worth it.
The Z71 suspension package is available on the LS or LT models. It appears you can order an LS Z71 with a V-6 and a 5 speed or a 4.8L V8 and a 5 speed. The LT only comes with an automatic.
Both of my Silverado's were special ordered to get a manual transmission.

My dealer says it's just the torque converter and that it is normal. Sure doesn't feel right to me. Anybody have this condition?
Thanks, Phil
