I've bought the same flasher, which rang up @ $10.99. I'm having some difficulty locating the flasher unit. The instructions on HMA website is not clear. Could you help me out?

    Thanks!

Absolutely my friend! I looked at the HMA site too but found it easier to poke my head up from under the dash with the flasher on without removing any interior dash panels. The clicking noise came from a black box mounted in an electrical socket directly behind the fuse box up high towards the drivers side of the car. You really can't miss it especially with it clicking away. Once you find it, turn the flashers off and press the two black clips on the side of the factory flasher that holds the flasher into its socket. I removed it and put the new one in in less than 5 minutes...truly that simple.

You have my e-mail so feel free to reach out if you still have difficulty finding it.

Cableguy06-Thanks for posting that info. I'll use it when I get around to switching my rear lights to LEDs.

I have an update on my low beam HID's. The conversion kit that I purchased from Ebay Store "Perlesong" (my.bijoux) developed a couple of problems. First, the bulbs were more like 4300K rather than the 8000K that I wanted. Second, one of the ballasts quit working. It was going to be about the same cost to buy a whole new kit as it would be to replace one ballast and two bulbs.

I decided to replace the whole kit, both headlights. I purchased the H7 (low beams) HID conversion kit on Ebay from "HID Outdoor Equipments", Ebay seller "lighting 623" at
http://stores.ebay.com/HID-Outdoor-Equipments The cost was $129.99 with free 2-day shipping.

I've got the kit installed. The 8000K bulbs are perfect with a diamond, ice blue-white color that matches the high beam's color. The kit is rather robust in that the wiring and ballasts are heftier (heavier and slightly larger in size) than the previous kit. The ignitors are separate from the ballasts. The ignitors are in-line and don't pose any problem with installation. So far, I am well satisfied with the kit. I do not know who makes the ballasts as the markings are all in English and I haven't seen any other ones that have an in-line ignitor. The kit is plug-and-play with no splicing required. The installation diagram included with the kit is well-done and very simple and easy to understand.

For the H7 (low beam) installation, I did notice that a person must be very careful to have the bulb seated properly in the headlight base. If not seated properly, the light beam will be fuzzy around the edges when shining on a flat surface and the headights won't have a matching light pattern. Once seated properly, the bulb should fit solidly, even with moderate pressure and twisting applied from any direction. The small cutout tab on the bulb base must point directly down and fit between the two little tabs on the headlight base. I installed the kit without removing the headlight units from the car. Bulb installation is easier with the headlight unit removed from the car.

You are very welcome. I have had my HID kit in now for a few months and still very pleased. Sorry you had problems with your initial purchase but it sounds like all is good again in the aauummm household once again :)

By the way, the bulb temp should be printed somewhere on the bulb. All of the kits I have seen either have a stamp or a sticker on the bulbs wiring indicating bulb temp. You may want to look at the old bulbs just to see if they have any markings to confirm your theory.

I need help to determine which kit I need to order, since
there are several different. I would like to replace the head
    lights on my Sonata 2006.

    Thanks in advance.

You want a kit that works with "H7" bulbs. The temperature (color) of the bulb is your preference. The lower the number (4300K) the whiter the light. The higher the number (8000K) the bluer the light. I went with 4300K bulbs as they are the brightest but if you like a blue tinted look, then look at the 6000K and 8000K bulbs.

Do a search on eBay "HID KITS"...there are tons ranging from $129 to over $400. My kit was around $175 and I am very pleased. Look for a seller "Genuine Auto". They also give a 3-year warranty on balasts and bulbs.

Visit http://www.xenonlightsource.com/home.html for some additional information and to see color choices.

Let me know if you need more help.

tjosan - The web site I provided and the one aauummm tried to assist you with is for wholesalers only but could give you more insight on the kits and the bulb color selections.

I found what looks to be a nice BOSCH kit for under $200 with shipping. This is the one I am looking to get for my wifes minivan. Go to the COMMUNITY tab and FIND a seller. Plug in the user name YARDUU2006 and you will find his kits there.

If you need more help, feel free to send me an e-mail.

That's what I figured looking at the website.
    The other one looks fine.
    Thanks again for your effort.

I need to make a correction on an earlier post that I made. I had stated:

"I purchased the H7 (low beams) HID conversion kit on Ebay from "HID Outdoor Equipments", Ebay seller "lighting 623" at
    http://stores.ebay.com/HID-Outdoor-Equipments
The cost was $129.99 with free 2-day shipping.
    "

The Ebay seller name should be "lighting623" instead of "lighting 623". Just in case anyone was wanting to take a look at those kits. The site is good also because it has good color comparison pictures, bulb pictures and descriptions and some pictures of the bulbs installed in cars.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like a nice kit too and you are obviously very happy with your purchase and the quality of the parts. You certainly can't beat the price :)
