Hi. I have worked out a deal to lease a 2014 Mazda6 GT and would like your opinion on how good the deal is or if I can do better than that. These are the terms:

36 months, 12,000 miles/year
MSRP: $30,490
invoice: $28,833
Negotiated price: $27,533
money factor: 0.000010
residual: 58%
Total out of pocket: $1000 (this includes first payment of 321 sales tax included)
Monthly payment: $300 + 7% Florida sales tax

Thanks, I've been negotiating with this information and here is what we have agreed on:

2014 Mazda6 GT - no options
MSRP: $30,490
Selling Price: $28,083 (including $750 incentive for owning a competing vehicle)
Residual: 57%
Money Factor: .00001
$610 due at signing (1st payment, title, license transfer, doc fee)
Payment: $334/month (including taxes) for 36 months/15k a year

All that I have left is trade in negotiation, which I am doing tomorrow. What do you think?

It looks pretty good.. I'm assuming the acquisition fee is added to the selling price for a $600 higher Cap Cost and sales tax is about 6%?

A lot of car for $334/mo.

The latest offer I received is for $292/mo + tax, with $0 down except for the fees at signing ($708 including 1st mo payment), and I want to make sure I'm getting a great deal.

The numbers in Indiana are the same as the post above yours, with the exception of the money factor, which is .00043

Mileage allowances above 15K/yr are on a per mile basis...

My dealer is insisting that the "CHASE" Money Factor is 0.00093, which is like $20 extra a month. This is my 3rd car from this guy and I trust him, but in the past all my numbers I have gotten here for the past 3 have matched his numbers.

Can I argue this?

A few things...

Chase is Mazda....

The base MF for all trims of the Mazda6 is .00043.. All trims, except for Sport can have their money factor marked up by .00050, for extra profit. So, add that up and I think you'll see what's happening..

I won't speak for your sales person, but it's possible they are getting the numbers from finance, and they don't know that the MF is marked up. Or, now that they've been caught, they don't want to own up to it, as they figure they'll lose the sale..

That markup adds about $25/month, so it's a big deal..
