VW Brakes

Hi can any tell the cause of a problem I have with my brakes, if I press the peddle once it's fine they work ok but say I am going down hill and I use the brakes more often then they get worse and they get hard on the peddle also when I press the brake peddle fast they seem to do the same.
There is no air in the System.

    Can't say much without more details but based on your slim description, I'll take a guess here that your power brake booster is losing vacuum.
