Chevy TrailBlazer lost power and will not turn over

Stopped at a red light and lost power. tried to jump it but it would not even turn over. any suggestions?

    First guess would be loose or corroded battery cables. After that, I'd test for voltage coming from the ignition switch to the starter relay, and then from the starter relay to the starter motor.
