2014 CR-V trim/feature question

Wife wants 3 features in the car - heated outside mirror, remote start and power liftgate.

Is the heated outside mirror only available on EX-L model? We don't want the leather seats - so just wondering if that's the only option or not - to get it as part of ex-L

Also does CRV have power liftgate like escape? Did not see any mention of it - does any trim has this feature?

And for remote start, is it best to get it dealer installed or get it cheaper outside?

Remote starters are like car alarms. They may work fine for a few years but it seems like a lot of them cause problems as they age. Even my OEM dealer installed alarm on one of my old cars flaked out several years ago and still causes me random issues after I disabled it.

I don't like remote starters but if I were to get one, I'd want it factory installed.

thanks .. i had similar problem with alarm installed by 3rd party on a matrix - had to have it disabled. probably not worth just to pay extra few hundred and get it done by dealer

If those are her requirements, she should look at another model.

so none of the model has liftgate like ford (don't need it to be activated by foot)?
