Am 2 1/3 years into 3 year lease on a 2012 A6 sedan (18,000) miles and was made following offer on leasing another A6 (premium plus with side assist) early:

Their quote:

MSRP - $49,025
Savings - $2,000
Selling Price - $47,025

Fees - 1,051
Taxes - 2,907

Trade allowance - $32,000
Trade payoff - $29,034

Net sales price - $48,018

36 month / 10K - .00074 - monthly payment $550 (no money down)
42 month / 10k - .00094 - monthly payment $543 (no money down)

From what I can tell this is a pretty good deal - am I missing something?

Thanks

Charles

4% off MSRP, and .00040 mark-ups to the money factor.. Neither of those is that good. It's great that they are giving you $3K trade equity on your old lease, but the deal on the new one is about $2K in total cost over what I would consider a good deal. (I'd look for 6% off and no money factor markups).

Now.. if your trade-in is really worth the value they assigned to it, then I'd try to negotiate at least another $1000-$1500 off of that deal, if you are interested in leasing another A6. As you get closer to lease end, that equity might disappear. But, this isn't a screaming deal that you have to grab, if you think you might be interested in a different vehicle, once your lease is up.

    Good luck!

Thanks so much for your advice. I'm not in a hurry - I'll ask for another grand off.
