2011 Avalon Door Locks

Pushing the buttons on my door handles produced a two or three second long beep but no lock or unlock function?? The smart key locks and unlocks fine. Any ideas?

    The best thing to do here is have the car scanned. With the right scanner, they can test each part in the system without removing anything. Sounds like the system "thinks" you are already locked.
