95 Eagle Vision

I have a 95 eagle vision. My a/c works but my heater does not. It just blows out cold air when I try to turn the heater on. Someone told me I might need my heater control changed and they said they know hot water is getting to the heater core. So im not sure what im suppose to get....

    Can you do this test---from the engine bay, feel the hoses that enter and exit the heater core (the heater hoses)--are they both warm or just the entry hose?
