Electrical Dies Upon Cranking Engine. Hyundai Santa Fe

I have a 2009 Santa Fe. Recently, when I turn the key to attempt to crank the engine, the electrical would die completely. There's no cranking at all. The electrical dies right away. This has happened three times in about 10 days. What could be happening?

Sounds like loose or corroded battery cables. (first guess).
