Corsica Cavalier Engine swap
I have a 96 3.1L corsica with a bad motor and i'm looking to put a 2.2L motor from a 97 cavalier into it. Can anyone tell me if this is even possible or not and what would be the problems with doing it.

I'm sure it's possible but I sure don't think it's worth it. First you'll have to make sure you have the same transmission in both cars (I think they're both 4T60s if the Cavalier is a '97 model); then you'll have to get all the mounts for the 2.2L engine; then you'll have to figure out the electronics--which is outside my area of expertise---in other words, which "brain" do you use to run the 2.2L engine, and will that Cavalier brain run the Corsica transmission, sensors, etc.
It would be much easier to swap the same year, same engine size.
