1987 Audi 5000 no spark to ignition coil

i have a audi 1987 5000 cs turbo that will not start. No spark from the ignition coil new battery and ignition coil. When the car does not start, the car turns over normally, and the computer say everything is ok on the dash and ready to go. Try to resetting the computer by pulling the battery cables off of the terminals.still will not start have new spark wire, and spark plug

    Might be the ignition control module although I hope not, as that is very pricey. I don't have a workshop manual for that car so can't help you test the module. Have you examined the distributor for damage or loose wires? Also examine the ballast resistor. If you are in the SF Bay Area I can refer you to very good Audi people.
