Anyone have problems with the 2014 GMC Sierra gas pedal sticking?
When I was passing someone on the highway yesterday I pressed down on the pedal to gain speed. After I lifted my foot off the pedal it continued to gain speed I had to hit the brake to get it to slow down. Has anyone else had this same problem?

I recommend that you remove any/all driver floor mats - and bring the vehicle to dealer shop immediately for diagnosis and repair. Be ready to hit the brake like you did before - the normal brake WILL stop the vehicle whether the accelerator is stuck or not. Based on the symptom, the dealer will be happy to flatbed/tow the vehicle to the dealership at no charge to you, if that's what you want. (They may insist on flatbed/tow, if you call them first.)

Yes, in bumper to bumper traffic, applied gas slightly to move forward from a stopped position, gas peddle got sucked to the floor in an instant. Struck cat in front. Brake application did nothing. Truck continued to rev when placed in reverse, shifted into neutral. 2015 Sierra
