Hello,

A while ago I found myself in second gear on the interstate doing about 75 for probably 5 - 10 miles. I didn't realize it.
Sometime after that I noticed that when driving, if I take my foot off the gas, the rpms fall to about 800 - 1000, it is like it just goes into neutral. If I step on the gas, the rpm's raise to match the road speed. Any ideas on where to start for this?

Thank you

have you checked the fluid level? The transmission might have overheated or perhaps some cavitation caused fluid to vent. Anyway, that's a good first step.

I will try that. I checked prior to this. Didn't think of it.

    Transmission fluid level is fine.
