uh huh well what kind of jeep year ah some info could be helpful
That info was in the tags, but I've added it to the discussion title.
2002 jeep liberty 3.7 ran fine then felt like a engine miss pulled off road and it died.fault code p0505
There's lots of posts around the net about this code on Jeeps and wiring issues with the PCM. If you can find it, check out the wiring. I'm not a mechanic though, and there's other things that could be triggering the code.
Thanks
Book says it could be short in the IAC harness, could be the IAC motor, could be the PCM. Someone needs to disconnect these circuits and start measuring values and resistances in a step by step diagnostic procedure. At worst, you may have to hook up the Chrysler DRB scanner, start the engine and starting wiggling wires to see if something shows.
Thanks
My problem was broken valve seat.Had valve grind both heads all faults and problems gone
