New to this Forum and just recently purchased a 1998 Chevy Tracker.

Wanted to know what people use to protect the vinyl soft top ??

    Vinyl? I like 303 Protectant myself. You can find it (and similar products) at spa stores, whitewater shops and maybe the big box stores.

    Thanks Stever - You said "Vinyl ?" I just figured it was vinyl - is it leather ??

    No, you wouldn't want a leather top. It's either vinyl or canvas.

    I was just covering myself, since I have no idea what your softtop is made of. B)

    My old Jeep top was vinyl so yours probably is too. Didn't have 303 back in '74 and my top rotted away in 3 years.

    The other brand with a good reputation is Vinylex from Lexol.
