Has anyone had the problem in that you get a warning " unable to change gear " . ? (Aston Martin)
I have an Aston Martin V8 Vantage 2009. The service centre said it was the clutch sensor and they replaced that, but the problem has come back

I've seen reports of this problem from other owners but it seems like AM doesn't have a solution at the moment. It seems to be an inherent defect in the Sportshift transmission. I think you're going to have to cruise any and all AM forums across the Internet until you find someone who figured this out. I've also read that if you pull over, shut the car down and start up again, then you're okay until the next time.
The technician came out and put the computer on it. There are faults in the command module relating to the gear box and he believes it is a wiring problem. It is being trucked into the service centre today
