I cant seem to find the answer: Does my 2010 2.4L santa fe have the belt or chain? I have found conflicting info online - Help.

I know the belt costs about 500 to replace and I am approaching 60K

so with 62K miles, i shouldn't have to do anything to the timing chain? is there a recommended service time for accessory belt? how much is that ?

The belts are an inspection item - inspect and replace if necessary. Estimated cost for a 60,000 mile service is around $240, depending on your zip code.

Timing chains can stretch but typically they last the life of the car.
