When they find out how unreliable Audis are, they'll eventually go back to their Toyotas and Hondas. I know I did.
2000 cars a month is a rounding error, compared to Camry and Accord sales. Great for Audi, but the A3 is just a gnat buzzing around a Honda dealer's head. The difference in lease pricing is probably $200/mo.

We are very happy with our 2009 A4 which replaced a 2003 A4. My only complaint is that I have to add oil at 8,000 miles before the scheduled 10,000 mile oil changes. After reading about the A3, we will probably stick with an A4 when we buy again.
