My father is looking to lease this vehicle in Colorado, but the #'s seem high.

MSRP             $42,075                    
Costco price     $39,148                
D&H          $599                   
Rebate           $(5,007)                   
Cap Cost          $34,740               

$371.00 a month
Money Down $5,000.00 36 month 10,500 miles $20,617 residual 1.75% APR

$458.00 a month
Money Down $2,000.00 36 month 10,500 miles $20,617 residual 1.75% APR

    Must be an SE model? I show an APR of .0.75%, but I don't have all of the regional numbers, so I suppose it could be higher in Colorado.

    Using those numbers, I get a payment of $433/mo. plus tax, with ZERO down payment.

    That said, I'll note a few things..

    1) $599 D&H? Is that a dealer fee? Outrageous

    2) Your 2nd line might not be too far off the number I gave.. IF, the $2000 is 1st payment, acquisition fee, title/registration.

    But, a $599 dealer fee, and a possible mark-up of the APR is not good... The difference between 1.75% and 0.75% is $23.mo. pre-tax
