Selling a 1988 Honda CRX-Si

I am interested in hearing from someone or a group that has expertise regarding this vehicle. I don't know what the real value is as I have seen prices on Craig's list from $8 to $12 K for similar vehicles. I am the only owner, purchased in 1988, all original, full service records, 73,000 miles. I am interested in opinions on value and the best way to sell. She does have undercarriage rust, and some body rust. A few minor dings. New tires. She has been completely maintained all these years. Thank you for sharing any thoughts and I would truly appreciate some advice before I move forward.

Those have a following but the rust kills it's value.

There a lot of crazy ASKING prices on Craigslist.

The fact it's an SI with low miles really helps but with that rust it's anybody's guess what someone will be willing to pay.

I saw a pristine CRX SI with less than 100,000 miles, automatic with air conditioning advertised on CL for 7500.00 recently but I have no idea if he found a buyer. To me, I thought 7500.00 was asking for the moon. They do have a following but it's a small following. They weren't big sellers when they were new.

@sscottie29 --- these are old posts so you might not get an answer. But out of curiosity, what do you think of the rust issue regarding value?
