Anyone experience the VW medallion leak on an Eos? (2009)
I have a 2009 komfort. I just changed a trunk motor, roof motor , ignition switch due to water leaks...get this, not from the roof but the Trunk latch! anyone experience this. My car has only 58K and I got it in dec of 2008. It was a lemon law replacement.

that is bizarre. I have heard of leaks from the door seals on the Eos but never that. I wonder if the car was ever in an accident?
No, I'd at least have a reason for it. That's probably why VW corporate listened to the complaint. The dealer has checked EVERY seal. I'm going to have to get the seal conditioner (not sure which one), just in case. I also had a steering wheel light on the dash...they said that indicated a faulty ignition switch. Does that make sense?
No, there's no dash warning light for a faulty ignition switch. If you could describe the icon on the light I could tell you what it means.
