Fixing a coolant leak - Ford Ranger
The pictures show the location of the leak. It is leaking on to the exhaust manifold. It appears like a hose is missing. White smoke as soon as it is turned on. More cooland comes out of the source when the car is running.
Two questions:
1- Is the missing part a hose? If so, what is the name of the missing part/hose? and where does it mounts to on the other end?
2- What is the easiest way to repair it?
Thanks in advance.

To answer my own question for anyone who looks at this, it is the heat core and there are two options: fixing it, which requires taking down the dash board to access it and instaling a by-pass, at the xpense of having no heat in the car.
