Infiniti M35x Oil change
I have a 2010 M35x. The dealership has always used regular oil, but they have closed where I live. Can and should I switch to synthetic oil? Car has about 30000 miles on it, and we put less than 7000 miles a year on it.

Infiniti doesn't recommend or require synthetics for that engine (I have a similar engine in a G37X). Given the relatively short service intervals that Infiniti recommends (either 3750 mi. or 7500 mi.), I'm not sure there would be much of an advantage in switching to synthetic. At least, not enough to justify the extra cost. I'd keep changing the oil twice per year, with the current recommended regular oil.
